Briana Ziembiec LMHC CASAC
My goal is to help those embrace their uniqueness by creating a safe, non-judgmental environment free from shame.
Most often we seek therapy with the concept of change in mind, whether within ourselves or our relationships. I find it pertinent to communicate to all that change can happen, it is at times necessary, but
the need for change does not mean that we are fundamentally flawed. I strive to send the message that each and everyone of us will face obstacles which will challenge our ability to achieve growth. I appreciate honesty and transparency which is often
visible in my approach. I believe in resiliency, and that we are all capable of emotional healing.
I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC), and substance abuse counselor (CASAC) with experience treating a wide range of issues. I work with individuals ages 13 and up, and have experience in treating anxiety, depression, Co-occurring disorders, PTSD, personality disorders, OCD, body image/self-esteem issues, grief and loss, gender dysphoria, women’s issues, and ADHD.
I utilize Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and solution focused techniques while a strength based and person centered approach remain consistent. It would be an honor to witness your growth, and all the good that is to come.
